Patricia Sullivan, CPC, Director of Operations
Mrs. Sullivan has 30 years experience in medical practice management, practice assessment and medical coding.  Mrs. Sullivan is a graduate of East Carolina University with a BA degree.  Mrs Sullivan has completed the Medical Office Management Certification Program through Old Dominion University, is a member of the national MGMA and is a certified coder in good standing with the American Academy of Professional Coders.  Mrs. Sullivan worked in a multiple physician practice setting for 15 years managing the billing office, implemented the use of ICD-9 and established workflow processes.  Mrs. Sullivan has worked at AcSel for more than 15 years assisting in all areas of billing and coding.  She has worked with numerous medical specialties during that time to improve coding compliance and  make improvement to their revenue cycle through ongoing analysis of processes.  Mrs. Sullivan is currently undergoing independent training on ICD-10 coding and implementation, as well as Meaningful Use implementation for all certified Electronic Health Record (EHR) programs.
